2Legit2Quit
People with a lot of gil that I believe got it “legit”.
I’m probably wrong through technicalities such as botting the AH or whatever, but these people I believe got their fortune through means other than duping, RMTing, fish botting, or other gil exploits. This list is probably biased towards JP players b/c as an NA player, I know more NA players and therefore, it is harder for me to notice JP players that exploit something because I know them less. I bet I’m wrong on half this list, but anyone on here can cheer themselves on for getting away with it due to getting on this list being hard.

What is this leading to? I guess the first thing would be when divisortheory was exposed to have RMTed his mandau. Somehow everyone thought the intrusion of his email was not a major issue. It’s yet another BS, “The ends justified the means” type of bullshit. I bet if I picked a lock on a house and burglarized it, I could just blame it on the homeowner due to their “poor security on their lock”. It amazes me how 3 separate people can break into protected web page forums, blame it on security, and then spew in-game holier-than-thou morals. These are the same people that try to adamantly argue that nobody in their linkshell bots. Somehow the ToS must supersede real life laws. Trying to convince me that these people will hack other peoples’ linkshells, but supposedly don’t break the FFXI ToS are like O.J. Simpson calling someone out for littering.
To most divisiortheory RMTing was somehow a shock, but to me, it was like, “Tell me something new”. All self-funded relics except for people on the list above are synonymous to me with exploiting something in this game or RMTing. (in other words, illegitimately funded) It’s like busting some frat boy for underage drinking. It isn’t about doing something wrong, it’s about being the person that got caught. It’s the poor morals most people send with how it is only wrong if you get caught, while everyone else is glorified. It’s like a linkshell full of people that work the cash register at Burger King, but somehow drive a Ferrari and live in a mansion. You may not have proof, but anyone with an IQ over 75 will have common sense pointing to drug dealing or some sort of illegitimate means.
Half the people in FFXI that act so holy remind me of Sarah Michelle Gellar from the movie “Cruel Intentions”. It’s like when she talked about how whenever she was tempted, she would look to Christ and the Cross (or something like that) and showed her necklace. (which just happened to be full of cocaine)
Just picture Sarah Michelle Gellar to look like that ganker from the South Park World of Warcraft episode and picture Selma Blair really being a guy that pretends to be female.

This was yet another Joe Tiller-coached performance. Purdue comes out flat for 3 quarters, only to make an epic 4th quarter comeback and tie the score. In typical Brock Spack-coached defensive performance on the final drive, Purdue let IU go down the field and kick a winning field goal. They could have salvaged the season somewhat and probably would have been going to somewhere warm for the bowl game. Instead, they are stuck in Detroit and handed IU their first bowl game since 93 simply because Tiller never has his team come in prepared and always seems to have the other team come out with multiple times the intensity.
Predicted: Indiana 34 Purdue 27
Actual: Indiana 27 Purdue 24
Game 13: Central Michigan (Motor City Bowl)
Normally, this game should be a gift. It should be even more for the fact that Purdue blew them out earlier this year. Purdue had a 38-0 lead on them sometime in the 3rd quarter before Purdue seemed to let up. This is a game that will be a major test for Joe Tiller. I personally feel Tiller should retire after this game, but I’m afraid he will stick around for a few more years and drag the program down with him. Recruiting is down the last few years, and the team was a veteran team this year. With all the starters lost and players kicked off the team, they probably will be bad next year. What hurts even more is that they have Oregon on the non-conference schedule next year, so even that won’t be guaranteed wins and will likely cause Purdue to need to go at least 4-4 in the Big Ten. I have a hard time seeing them go 500 in the Big Ten next year with all that they lose. (plus considering they went 3-5 w/ a veteran team this year)
People can bitch about this bowl, but they probably shouldn’t because this might be the only bowl they play in for the next few years. I called the football program’s decline last year, and I am more confident in it this year. Obviously I hope I am wrong, but the realist in me doubts it and has me prepared for a lot of mediocre upcoming seasons. Anyway, I predict the talent gap will win this game for Purdue. Joe Tiller may badly coach this game enough that Central Michigan keeps it close, but Purdue should pull it out. The only good thing about this game if Purdue loses will be the entertainment on the messageboards from enraged alumni.
These will be things like
• I’m canceling my season tickets until we fire Tiller
• I’m done with watching Purdue Football. I just can’t handle this
• Someone will respond, “Don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out”
• Some Notre Dame fan that for some reason has a premium membership to the Purdue Board will talk about how Purdue’s Program is one of the worst in all of major college football.
• A list of potential new coaches from up-and-coming teams.
• A sticky from the admins telling people to “knock it off” or they will be banned.
• Some e-penis argument between two alumni with one saying his opinion counts more because he donated $xxxx.xx dollars to the school.
• Someone will make excuses for Tiller and say, “These could be the Colleto Years.”
Prediction: Purdue 35 Central Michigan 31
